At Integrated Wellness and Strategies, I, Amber W. Pearson, utilize psychotherapy to inspire and motivate clients who need healing and hope. My intention as a therapist is to help you heal from pain in your present and past, so that you can live a transformed life in your future. I work with individual adults (ages 18 and up) via TeleTherapy.

My approach as a therapist is person-centered, trauma-focused and integrative, which means I take into account your culture, beliefs, family system, personal history, trauma history and beliefs. In addition, I have a wholisitic perspective, which means that I see individuals as an interconnection of mind, body, energy, and spirit. I am trained in: Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), some Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Multicultural Therapy.


Becoming your best self physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually is also huge part of what I assist individuals with in therapy, and this is essentially what wellness is all about. And, in order to best fulfill your needs as a client, I also work hard to create strategies specific to your own needs so that you can be fully engaged and aware throughout the process. From intention, healing and awareness comes lasting results!


I am licensed to serve clients who reside in Colorado, North Carolina and Washington state (as well as anyone residing in a location that doesn't require a clinician to be licensed in that state in order to provide TeleTherapy). I am also an EMDR Certfied Therapist (EMDR-CT) - which means I have been certified to practice EMDR officially by EMDRIA.

Individual Therapy for Adults


I provide individual psychotherapy for adults and specialize in working with individuals who have the following struggles:



Have you ever experienced something that caused you immense emotional distress and suffering - fear, doubt, confusion, sadness, anger, guilt, resentment, etc? If you have ever struggled after being in an abusive or neglectful relationship, survived an attack, had an auto accident, or experienced violence or harrassment? If so you may be suffering from the aftereffects of trauma. I specialize in trauma and PTSD treatment and can help you heal and grow.


Are you grieving the loss of something or someone that was of great value to you? People think of grief as something that happens when someone you love dies, but it can also happen when changes occur in relationships, jobs, and your own self-identity. Even positive shifts can cause feelings of grief because one chapter of life is coming to an end. I am here to bear witness to these losses, shifts, and changes; to help you process through it and come to a place of peace.

Chronic Illness

Are you dealing with chronic medical illness or a terminal illness? Few people understand or empathize with the strength it takes to manage chronic illness. It takes so much energy just to get up in the morning, and can be intensely lonely.  I am here to help you learn how to live and cope with illness in ways that will inspire hope, rather than despair; and a sense of freedom, rather than a sense of being trapped. 


Are you wanting to talk to a therapist who recognizes the importance of your soul journey and spiritual beliefs? If so, I am a soul-aware therapist that has learned how to understand and integrate whatever spiritual beliefs a client has into therapy. This not only includes spirituality of major world religions and philosophies, but also of Taoist, New Age, Pagan, Druid, Animist, Energy-Based, Astrology, Human Design & Gene Key systems. I am also Indigenous-friendly, Starseed-friendly, past-life aware, and Light Body trained.
